It is that time of year..... the Christmas decorations are down from the attic and we are decorating the house. We put up the tree Monday night and started decorating it today. The kids are horrified to know that it is a "fake" tree but hey, it fits perfectly into the corner and has a great shape! Being fake isn't that bad-you can bend the branches to fit the ornaments, or move the branches in such a way as to fill that empty hole and make it look just right hahaha.We told them that they can go buy their own "charlie brown" tree when they get home! I have Christmas carols blasting all day long-it is my goal to go through all my Christmas CDS before Christmas. I have even done some baking this year. All this in anticipation of Jake, Cassie, and Roxanne coming home for Christmas. This will be the first Christmas we will be "home for the holidays" in Virginia in two years. 2007 we had a great Christmas in Utah skiing. 2008 we had a great time with family in Canada.
Can't wait for a full house again :)
